About this product

Introduction:
Royal Brackla 12-Year-Old Cawdor Estate Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a rich and exuberant expression, finished in Oloroso sherry casks for a smooth, luxurious taste. This regal whisky, known as "The King’s Own Whisky," was the first Scotch ever granted a Royal Warrant in 1833 by King William IV, and it continues to uphold its noble heritage.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: A delightful blend of ripe peaches, black cherries, and chocolate-covered almonds, enhanced by hints of muscovado sugar.
  • Palate: Full-bodied spice from Oloroso sherry, balanced with the bright, fruity essence that defines Royal Brackla.
  • Finish: Smooth and inviting, with lingering rich sherried notes and a touch of warm oak spice.

Pairing Suggestions:
Pairs well with dark chocolate, roasted almonds, and blue cheese, complementing the whisky’s opulent and fruity profile. Also a perfect match for slow-roasted meats or spiced desserts.

Maturation:
Aged for 12 years and finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks sourced directly from Spain, ensuring depth, complexity, and a regal character.
