Delivery of Alcoholic Beverages

Signature & ID Requirement
All alcoholic beverage deliveries require a signature and valid government-issued ID from an adult of legal drinking age. Orders cannot be left unattended or at the doorstep.

If no eligible adult is available at the time of delivery, the package will be returned to the nearest postal outlet for pickup, subject to the carrier’s policies.

Responsible Delivery
To ensure safe and responsible delivery, unattended drop-offs are not permitted under any circumstances.

Shipping Range

Canada-Wide Shipping
We currently ship orders within Canada only.

Shipping Costs

We offer simple, flat-rate shipping for all eligible orders.

Flat Shipping Fee
$69.99 flat rate per order.

Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 3 to 10 business days.
  • In rare cases, processing times may be extended without prior notice.
  • A tracking number will be emailed once your order has been processed and shipped.

Transit Time

  • Estimated Delivery Time: 5–14 business days
  • Shipping Days: Monday to Friday

Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions or carrier delays.

We ship orders using reliable third-party courier services, including:

  • Canada Post
  • Purolator
  • Loomis
  • Canpar

Tracking Information

Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing the courier name and tracking number.

Tracking updates are provided by the courier and may not always reflect real-time changes. For questions related to tracking, please contact the shipping carrier, or our customer support team at info@spliquor.ca.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

We take great care to ensure all orders are securely packaged before leaving our warehouse. However, once a shipment is handed over to a third-party courier, we are no longer liable for loss or damage during transit.

Shipping insurance is provided by the third-party carrier and is an optional purchase made by the customer. Any claims for damaged or lost shipments are subject to the carrier’s own policies, terms, and liability limits.

Accuracy of Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping details are accurate at checkout. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delivery delays, additional fees, or returned shipments.

Missing Items

If your order is missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@spliquor.ca, including your order number and details.

Return Policy

Return Window
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order.

Return Conditions
Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If an item is defective or incorrect, return shipping costs will be covered by us.
  • For customer-initiated returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item and issued to the original payment method.

Restocking Fees

No restocking fees are charged on returned items.

Bottle Deposits

In accordance with Alberta’s Beverage Container Recycling Program, bottle deposits are applied as follows:

  • Up to 1 litre: $0.10
  • Over 1 litre: $0.25

Bottle deposits are non-refundable and applied where required by law.
