Made exclusively from 100% Espadin agaves, grown in the mesmerizing landscapes of Oaxaca, each sip embodies the essence of this iconic region. The slow cooking process is where the magic begins. Harvested piñas are carefully split and laid to cook for 4-6 days in earthen pits, their flavors intensifying as they absorb the essence of volcanic or river rock.
Once the piñas are cooled, the crushing process commences. Casamigos Mezcal embraces tradition by utilizing the Tahona wheel, a traditional stone mill, to extract the rich juices from the agave. This age-old technique ensures that every drop of mezcal carries the authentic flavors that make it truly exceptional.
The journey continues as Casamigos Mezcal enters the fermentation stage. Depending on the season, this mezcal ferments for 6-8 days, allowing the flavors to develop and mature naturally.
