Black Opal Cabernet Merlot 750 mL

Introduction:
Black Opal Cabernet Merlot is a rich and fruit-forward Australian red blend that exudes intrigue and sophistication. This well-balanced wine combines the depth of Cabernet Sauvignon with the smoothness of Merlot, creating an inviting and approachable experience.

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Deep crimson to purple.
• Aromas: Expressive notes of dark berries and spice with subtle oak influence.
• Palate: Ripe cherry and plum flavors with hints of chocolate, complemented by a finely textured mouthfeel.
• Finish: Smooth and well-integrated, with lingering fruit and soft tannins.

Winemaking:
Sourced from premium vineyard sites in South Eastern Australia, fruit selection was based on color and flavor intensity. Parcels were fermented separately, utilizing cap management techniques to extract vibrant flavors and soft tannins while maintaining approachability. Partial oak maturation for nine months added complexity, while some portions remained un-oaked to preserve fresh fruit character.

Serving Suggestions:
This Cabernet Merlot pairs exceptionally well with barbeque ribs and coleslaw, enhancing the wine's bold fruit and balanced structure.

Black Opal Cabernet Merlot offers a refined yet accessible expression of Australian winemaking, delivering depth, character, and drinkability.
