Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Ruby red.
- Aroma: Ripe berries, cherries, and hints of pencil shavings, followed by subtle oak spices.
- Palate: Velvety soft, mouth-filling with clean fruit and elegant oak spice. The wine is well-balanced with gentle tannins, providing a smooth and lingering finish.
Winemaking:
The grapes are handpicked at optimal ripeness (24.5–25.5° Balling) and undergo a controlled fermentation process at temperatures between 24–26°C to preserve the fruit flavors. The wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of new French and American barrels, 2nd and 3rd fill barrels, and a tank component aged on French oak staves, ensuring a harmonious integration of fruit and oak.
