Introduction:
Flor de Caña 12 Year Centenario is a prestigious Nicaraguan rum with a deep, reddish amber hue. This semi-sweet, stately rum has won accolades, including a Gold Medal at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Aged for 12 years in premium bourbon barrels, it’s perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or mixed with a splash of water or soda.

Tasting Notes:

• Colour: Reddish amber.
• Aroma: Nougat, almond butter, molasses, and sherry notes.
• Palate: Rich and semi-sweet with flavors of nougat, almond butter, and molasses, balanced by the complexity of sherry.
• Finish: Peppery spice, dark caramel, and charred oak linger on the palate.

Production:
Flor de Caña 12 Year Centenario is naturally aged in premium bourbon barrels, sealed with plantain leaves to allow an undisturbed maturation process. This gives the rum its distinctive amber color, elegant flavor profile, and hints of oak and tropical notes, all without any sugar, additives, or artificial ingredients.

Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with dark chocolate desserts, grilled meats, or rich cheeses like aged cheddar. Ideal for special occasions or to enjoy as an after-dinner drink.
