About the Lemon Hart Rum 750 mL

Introduction:
Lemon Hart & Son Original 1804 is a classic British-style black rum renowned for its bold, rich flavor and smooth complexity. A premium blend of select single estate rums, it is distilled, Bourbon barrel-aged, and blended on the East Bank of the Demerara River in Guyana, creating a deep and full-bodied spirit that stands out in cocktails or sipped neat.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Aromas of banana, vanilla, shortbread, candied almonds, and toasted oats.
  • Palate: Well-balanced and velvety smooth with complex layers of dark brown sugar, island spices (nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon), vanilla bean, cocoa, dark honey, caramel, and oak.
  • Finish: Long and refined with hints of English toffee, dried fruits (Sultana raisins, dates, and apricots), semi-sweet dark chocolate, and a steeped tea essence.

Pairings:
Pairs beautifully with rich desserts, spiced dishes, and grilled meats. It also complements tropical cocktails, classic rum and cola, or a simple Old Fashioned-style preparation to highlight its depth of flavor.
