Tasting Notes:
Pèppoli Chianti Classico DOCG presents a bright ruby red color. The nose offers fresh impressions of red fruit, especially currants, strawberries, pomegranates, and hints of watermelon. Delicate floral aromas of dog rose and hibiscus, with undertones of caramel, complete the aromatic bouquet. On the palate, it is mouth-filling and savory, followed by fresh, lively sensations with soft, supple tannins, leading to a full-flavored, vibrant finish.

Winemaker’s Notes:
Crafted predominantly from Sangiovese grapes, complemented by other varieties, Pèppoli is vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve its fruity and floral notes. Maceration is performed to extract soft tannins over a period of 10-12 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels, with a small percentage aged in barriques and stainless-steel vats, enhancing its complexity and depth.

This Chianti Classico pairs well with a variety of dishes, including grilled meats, pasta with tomato-based sauces, and aged cheeses. Its balanced acidity and vibrant fruit profile complement dishes like roasted lamb, spaghetti Bolognese, or a selection of Tuscan pecorino cheeses.
